After a fair amount of mental wrestling that finally gave way to a time of rest, my second book is now back in the active revision stage. My aim is much more focused, and I’m grateful for the struggle that got me there. With that, here is a tentative book description, title, and subtitle. I welcome your thoughts in the comments below, via contact form, or in person.

Book Description

How aware are you of that inner voice directing your mindset? How often do your thoughts and emotions hijack your actions? Do you feel like you have any control over the atmosphere of your inner self?

What you tell yourself about the world and your role in it matters more than you might realize. Fortunately, you can train your self-talk to be a better internal manager and keep it from wandering and drifting based on the prevailing winds of culture, circumstances, and emotions. But you need a self-talk strategy to do so.

A self-talk strategy begins with awareness of patterns and influences. It involves creating reliable reminders and developing consistency through focused attention and effort.

A healthy inner atmosphere begins with your self-talk.
